Carlow Ladies Football Manager Bart Gilmartin says their confidence is high after a successful year so far and a win over London at the weekend in the Championship.
They travelled to Ruislip where they defeated the hosts 3-8 to 1-12.
Bart says they have two tough games coming up and need to stay focused….
“We know when we play kilkenny in the championship in a couple of weeks time we will be meeting a very different kilkenny team”
“The All Ireland Series is a separate competition so in each match we are only looking at the next game, now it’s against Lancashire in two weeks.
“Again that’s going to be a big ask, after getting the win in London you know we need to keep our heads down and make sure we win that match against Lancashire and we’ll go into the kilkenny game then, and depending on how Kilkenny get on against London, that could be a match for the top spot, but we aren’t looking ahead of the Lancashire game”
