Local sides confirmed for FAI Junior Cup 2nd Round

The draw for the 2017/18 FAI Junior Cup has been made, with a number of local derbies thrown out. Local sides are in action in round two of the cup with fixtures taking place on the weekend of 1 October.

Kilkenny’s Evergreen FC were runners up in last year’s competition and get their competition started with an away trip to Vale Wanderers.

Thomastown United, flying high in Leinster competition last year with a big win over Shamrock Rovers in United Park get things started with a game against fellow countymen Deen Celtic.
