Grange overturned a five point half time deficit (1-6 to 1-1) to defeat Ballinabranna in the Carlow Intermediate Football Championship at Netwatch Cullen Park last night.
The 1-9 to 1-8 win puts Willie Quinlan’s charges into the semi final along with the Fighting Cocks and Kilbride, with Eire Og or Kildavin Clonegal clashing to decide the fourth spot on Tuesday.
Rathvilly saw off Eire Og in the Under 16 A Football Championship Semi Final replay by the exact same scoreline.
It’s back to the J.J. Kavanagh Senior Hurling Championship this evening when Ballinkillen and Naomh Eoin go head to head at Netwatch Cullen Park .
This is the last game in the league section after which the semi-final pairings will be known with MLR and St Mullins already through.
