The GAA/GPA All-Stars, sponsored by Opel, are delighted to announce details of the shortlisted nominees for the September Player of the Month in football and hurling.
The players are:

Hurling
- Michael Fennelly (Kilkenny)
- TJ Reid (Kilkenny)
- Conor Whelan (Galway)
The winners of the GAA/GPA Opel Player of the Month Award for September will be chosen by the inter-county playing body, and will be announced at a presentation in Croke Park on Wednesday 7th of October.
Michael Fennelly was awarded KCLR’s Man Of The Match following his performance in Kilkenny’s All-Ireland victory over Galway on Sunday 6 September while himself and TJ Reid are continuing with hurling action locally as Ballyhale Shamrocks contest this year’s senior hurling semi-finals in a week’s time.
