Mount Leinster Rangers manager Brendan Fennelly says they have a serious challenge ahead as they look to regain the Carlow Senior Championship on Sunday against Naomh Eoin Myshall.
Speaking to KCLR, Brendan says both teams in Sunday’s County Final are there on merit…
“Yeah, I think we have a serious challenge coming up against them. I think both teams are there on merit in fairness to them”.
“Both teams were basically unbeaten in the League and finished first and second in the league with ourselves and we confirmed our positions both of us in the Semi-Finals against St Mullins and Ballinkillen so yeah I mean Naomh Eoin Myshall during the early part of the season when both clubs had a lot of players with the county teams, they went down to Kilkenny and won their respective leagues there as well so both are very much there on merit”.
