Thomastown United manager Stephen Walsh says it’s massively important to do well in the FAI Junior Cup.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s trip to Offaly to Birr Town, Stephen says that Kilkenny Teams are capable of winning outside competitions.
“Look at where Evergreen went last year. They got to the final and we played Evergreen a few times last year and we are not that far off them and I don’t see why we shouldn’t have ambitions to go as far as we can in that competition and the Leinster Junior and every club should be the same.
The days of dominating teams are over, the days of dominating Dublin Teams are over, we were in the Semi-Final of the Leinster Junior the year before and Evergreen were as well and they got to the Final of the FAI so there is no reason why we can’t,” he declared.
