Willie Mullins says that Faugheen has been doing everything right at home ahead of his comeback in Sunday’s Morgiana Hurdle in Punchestown.
Speaking ahead of Sunday’s race, Willie says Faugheen is primed and ready to go.
“We think he is in good shape and is doing everything well at home and we are looking forward to it.
“Just a couple bits of work now to do between now and then and hopefully he will arrive up next Sunday. Like, after been away last week, I will get to see the horses this week now and see what might go with them or maybe two of them because I need to get runs into these horses and see what might be able to shape up.
“He was doing it really well but there wasn’t anything to run him in. By the time he eventually got ready, we just kept him going and gave him a shorter break during the Summer rather than let him get fat but he is doing all the right things,” he said.
