Ollie O’Neill says both Shane Flavin and Aidan O’Neill have prepared well ahead of their respective National Senior Quarter-Final bouts at the National Stadium tomorrow night(Friday).
Speaking to KCLR, Ollie says both fighters have upped their training in recent times and is quietly confident of victory for both fighters.
“Shane is Boxing a good lad in Patrick Adams from Drimnagh Boxing Club.
“Now about 4 or 5 weeks ago in the Celtic Cup Final, Shane beat this guy that was was close enough of but we have been training and pushed on a good bit since then.
“Aidan was very unlucky in the Leinster Senior Semi-Final, beaten on a split decision by the eventual winner.
“I thought he had done enough to win it so we pushed on again since then, so hopefully now with all the training that we put in, he might get a victory Friday night,” he said.
