Murphy confident of Nemo’s chances ahead of Munster Final

4-times All-Ireland Senior Club Football medal winner with Nemo Rangers Brian Murphy feels that the Cork Senior Football Champions can upset the odds and defeat Dr. Crokes in Sunday’s Munster Final.

Brian is living in Kilkenny and is Chairman of O’Loughlin Gaels and speaking to KCLR, Brian says they have a great chance providing they can at least break even.

“If Nemo can break even around the middle of the field they are in with a great chance, because they have some very good forwards, a very good full-forward line, they have Paul Kerrigan who is playing very well at the moment.

“Now against that, Crokes have an excellent full-forward line as well and they have the Gooch there.

“Now there is some question marks about whether he will be playing or not but if he is playing, he has been one of the best forwards over the past number of years, so a big task for Nemo but as I said if they can break even midfield particularly around the full-back line, and if they hold the Crokes Full-Forward line reasonably well, they are in with a good shout,” he said.
