Two Kilkenny competitions win 2017 race awards

Two Kilkenny competitions won 2017 race awards.

The JJ Reddy Danesfort 10K run won the 10k competition while the Reign of Terror was named
Obstacle Course of the Year.

There were also local competitions shortlisted….

Marathon of the Year
Winner: SSE Airtricity Dublin City Marathon
Finalists (in alphabetical order):

Cork – Irish Examiner Cork City Marathon
Derry – SSE Airtricity Walled City Marathon
Dublin – SSE Airtricity Dublin City Marathon
Kerry – Dingle Marathon
Limerick – Barrington Hospital Great Limerick Run Marathon

Half Marathon of the Year
Winner: Dingle Half Marathon
