St. Patricks Ballyragget Selector David Buggy says that Kevin Kelly is extremely doubtful for Sunday’s All-Ireland Club Final having not trained since picking up a knee injury in the Leinster Final.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s All-Ireland Intermediate Final against Kanturk of Cork, David says their training sessions have been attracting big crowds.
“To come out of the Cork Intermediate Championship and just look at all the matches, they have played a hell of a lot of games to get to here and to win that, it’s very hard to win anything in Cork as we all know as it is in Kilkenny.
“The people are looking forward to it, there is even crowds of people down in training, it’s a great buzz for any parish, but isn’t it brilliant to have a parish going to Croke Park for an All-Ireland Final.
“Kevin Kelly is still a doubt, we are not really sure how he is fixed, he has a problem with his knee still, he hasn’t trained or hasn’t done anything with us really since the Leinster Final before Christmas,” he said.
