The FA Cup run has ended for Carlow man Padraig Amond and his Newport County side.
Spurs moved into the fifth round with a comfortable 2-0 victory over the League Two side at Wembley.
What an amazing night last night was. Everyone involved in the club can be very proud of our cup run and how close we were to beating Spurs in the first game. Supporters were unbelievable last night and the lads brilliant and gave everything as always. Time to kick on now pic.twitter.com/droSKwYkxm

Erik Lamela scored his first goal in 16 months to help hand Spurs a last 16 trip to Rochdale.
Amond did have a couple of opportunities over the 90 minutes but unfortunately he couldn’t repeat the heroics this time around.
However the memories of the famous draw at Rodney Parade will last a lifetime.
