Kilkenny Senior hurler TJ Reid says they can take positives despite defeats from their opening two league matches.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s clash against Waterford, TJ says the young players who came off the bench against Clare showed up well.
“You take positives from it and you also take negatives from it as well and it’s all about how you move forward”
“Yeah, we finished strong but again Clare were up by 11 points, and missed scores in the 2nd half as well so Hurling is all about ifs and buts, but yeah it was positive that the team spirit was very good and the boys came back and put on a performance in the 2nd half which is good, and the subs came on”
“The young lads like Mossy Keoghan, Richie Leahy and these boys really stood up in the 2nd half which is fantastic to see that we have players coming through”
“We have Waterford now and all gearing towards that”
