Freebooters Youths manager Derek Kenny says their 5-0 hammering of St. Kevins Boys has made them a force to be feared at National level.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s FAI Youths Cup clash at home to Aislinn(Annacotty) of Limerick, Derek says they have prepared well.
“St. Kevins Boys was a great test for us, we beat them 5-0 in Dublin so training is going well, we are injury free and looking forward to Sunday’s tie.
“It gave us great confidence winning in Dublin, everybody knows about their club, they are like an institution there so I won’t say it was an unexpected win, we were quietly confident of doing the business, but it’s probably after putting us up there certainly Nationally as a Team to be feared,” he said.
