Carlow Football recieved another boost in the past 24 hours with the news that key forward Paul Broderick picked up the GAA player of the week for his performance against Antrim.
Broderick has been a key figure again this season and saw off Dublin’s Ciaran Kilkenny and Tyrone’s Mattie Donnelly to take the award.
