Mullinavat the standout team – All your Kilkenny Hurling results from the weekend

Mullinavat were the standout team during the first weekend of games in the Kilkenny Senior leagues.

They beat James Stephens 4-18 to 12 points while defending Champions Dicksboro, Ballyhale Shamrocks, Bennettsbridge, O Loughlin Gaels and St Patricks Ballyragget also hit the ground running.

In Group A of the Intermediate League Tullaroan, St Lachtains and Graigue Ballycallan were victorious, while in Group B Lisdowney, St Martins and Young Irelands also won.

In Section A of the Junior League Dunnamaggin, Windgap, Kilmacow, Blacks and Whites and Galmoy all won with Emeralds and Piltown drawing 1-15 apiece.

And in Section B James Stephens and the Rower Inistioge both won.
