Kilkenny Rugby Club Head Coach Packie Henebry says that Leinster have great strength and depth to accommodate for injured players including Sean O’Brien.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of this weekends European Cup Semi-Final, Packie says that Leinster’s greatest strength is that a number of players can play in a variety of positions and that can propel them into the Final.
“He(Sean O’Brien) is after having a difficult year with injuries, actually, the past two years really with his hip and his shoulder and everything.
“But they have so many players they can replace all around from 1 to 15, they can make positional switches as well. Jonny Sexton can play in the centre, he can play out-half, they can play him anywhere, Joey Carberry is the same, he can come in there and play anywhere.
“It’s the same with the Irish squad this year, we have strength in depth all around, in saying that the Scarlets have it as well, but I think at the end of the day Leinster probably should have enough,” he said.
