Tullow Rugby Club Chairman Luke Hade says it was a very positive week for the Club despite losing two finals.
Speaking to KCLR after yesterday’s Provincial Towns Cup Final, Luke says the Under-16s played outstanding Rugby in winning their Cup Final.
“For Under-age Rugby, it was a great game to watch, absolutely class and our Ladies got beaten by St. Marys who were a Senior Club now gone AIL on Thursday night under lights in Tullow by 5 points, only a score in it after extra-time.
“It was another great achievement for the girls but they got beaten by one score and they are defending that Flood Cup as well so it’s been a great week overall, we have lost two of them, but like we were in them, you have to be in them first to have a chance so look it’s been a great week overall,” he said.
