Early-bird registration opens for Great Pink Run in Kilkenny this October

The Great Pink Run

The Great Pink Run with Avonmore Slimline milk returns to Kilkenny’s Castle Par on Sunday 14 October.

Early bird registration for both of this year’s events is now open, online at greatpinkrun.ie.

Kilkenny’s event is preceded by Phoenix Park in Dublin on 13 October.

Over 7,000 men women and children, all donned in pink, crossed the starting line for Breast Cancer Ireland’s Great Pink Run with Avonmore Slimline Milk which took place across the Phoenix Park on Saturday 9 September and Kilkenny Castle Park on Sunday 10 September last year.

Great Pink Run Patron & Olympic silver medalist and 5000m world champion Sonia O’Sullivan, once again lead the 10K Challenge for its inaugural year in Kilkenny.

Great Pink Run Kilkenny Details

This year’s event runs on Sunday 14 October with options on a 10k and 5k. The 10k race run gets underway at 10am and includes two laps of the day’s route. The 5km gets underway at 12.40pm, for the most-part within the grounds of Kilkenny Castle. Each participant gets a race thsirt with your entry fee. Early bird rates are €15 plus booking fee for adults, €10 plus booking for under 18s while U10s enter free.
