Kilkenny County Board Camogie Chairman Martin Quilty says the Senior have stuff to work on ahead of the start of the Championship.
Speaking to KCLR after Saturday’s narrow victory in the Leinster Senior Final against Offaly, Martin says that Kilkenny manager Anne Downey won’t be happy with the free-count.
“Winning the League is a great achievement, doing the back to back then in Leinster, it sets up the girls for hopefully what will be an exciting Championship.
“We have Limerick to play on the 9th of June and this will set the girls up. I know Anne certainly won’t be happy with some of the performance, especially the free count that was given away.
“Offaly certainly put it up and when they ran at the defenders, they were certainly in trouble, but look she has things to work on, it’s going to be a very good championship for everyone and hopefully we will make Croke Park in September,” he said.
