Kilkennny Minor Hurling Selector Adrian Finan has dismissed notions that Kilkenny are amongst the favorites and contenders to win the All-Ireland Minor Championship.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Saturday’s All-Ireland Semi-Final clash against Offaly in Tullamore, Adrian says that full focus on tomorrow’s game against Offaly is their priority.
“Anything beyond that (Saturday) is crazy with this age group, every game is a significantly big challenge, and you have to be 100% in all of these games to get over the hurdle that’s ahead of you.
“Offaly is the one that stands in our way now, and they had a very very good win, a very impressive win actually against Laois themselves at the weekend and that was against a Laois Team that we had maybe found hard winning against in the round robin section of the competition earlier on.
“Offaly is the only challenge that is on our mind of the moment,” he said.
