Kilkenny Minor Hurling manager Richie Mulrooney says last Saturday’s performance against Limerick was most pleasing and set’s them up nicely for Sunday’s All-Ireland Semi-Final against Tipperary.
Speaking to KCLR, Richie says it should be a close game on Sunday.
“I think your form is often dictated by the opposition that you play against and Dublin and Galway were both very very good teams.
“I have said all along that we have a very good team ourselves and our scoring rate was certainly back last Saturday and our defending was excellent throughout.
“Limerick had finished top of the Munster Round Robin Series before they lost the Munster Final to Tipperary so I would say based on that, it should be a very very tight game on Sunday, but we were absolutely delighted with the lads performance last Saturday,” Richie said.
