Tullogher-Rosbercon Senior Hurler Walter Walsh is very much looking forward to Saturday’s second round Intermediate clash against Thomastown.
Speaking to KCLR, Walter says they have a good blend of experience and youth to challenge for Intermediate honors.
“As a Tullogher-Rosbercon man, that’s my number one concern at the minute and and hopefully injuries don’t play a part in the Club Championship like they did in the Inter-County Championship.
“This year we have had lots of younger players to add to the likes of Richie Dollard who is back as fit as ever and obviously lads like Pat Hartley, John Hartley, Jack Cotterell have been there for a number of years.
“We have a nice blend of maybe some more experienced lads and some younger lads coming to kind of freshen the whole thing up well.
“The Intermediate Championship it’s so open, it’s impossible to know who is going to win it, it should be great,” said Walter.
