TJ Reid hopes to be back within the next 3-4 weeks when the business end of the Local Championships in Kilkenny comes around.
TJ sustained an ankle injury in his sides defeat to O’Loughlin Gaels over the weekend, and speaking to KCLR he says that he is hopeful the injury will heal up quickly.
“I probably put pressure on my ligaments and then got up to try and run after the ball and I just a felt sharp pain in my ankles so it’s unfortunate.
“This is the busy time of the season and to get an injury now it’s on the wrong side of it.
“Hopefully it will only be 3 or 4 weeks and that’s when the main business starts I suppose in Kilkenny.
Reid has also called for big support for the Kilkenny Minor Hurlers for next Sunday’s All Ireland Final.
He says that Kilkenny will be out for revenge having lost to Galway earlier this year.
