The GAA have issued a ticket and bag warning ahead of this Sunday’s All-Ireland hurling finals.
With Kilkenny and Galway contesting the minor final and the Tribesmen’s seniors and Limerick contesting the senior final, Croke Park will be at capacity for the first time this year.
Ahead of the game, the GAA have released the following statement warning supporters over bags and tickets.
“Supporters are reminded to only source tickets through their clubs and county committees and to not facilitate or engage in the practice of reselling tickets for inflated prices above face value. All-Ireland tickets identified as having been offered for sums above face value will be cancelled by the GAA’s Ticketing Department – in keeping with the practice of recent years.”
There are moves afoot to make the practice of selling tickets for prices over face value illegal. Fans who have turned to touts or third-party ticket websites should take note as they may be turned away on the day.
“Supporters are also reminded about the baggage restrictions in operation at Croke Park and advised not to arrive at the stadium with bags larger than A4 size and to co-operate with Gardai and stewards at all times – but particularly when it comes to exiting after the game.”

Hurling Team of the 90s to be recognised after minor final
Following the presentation of the cup to the victorious minor team, there will be a special ceremony to honour the Hurling Team of the 90s – a selection of outstanding players from an iconic decade in the game’s history.
Kilkenny’s DJ Carey will be among the 15 names to be honoured.
If the minor final goes to extra time, the Hurling Team of the 90s will instead be honoured during half time in the senior hurling final.
