O’Loughlin Gaels manager Niall Bergin says it’s still too early in the season to determine how they are going despite being the only Senior Club Team in Kilkenny with a 100% winning record.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Saturday’s Final League match at home to Rower-Inistioge, Niall says it won’t be until the knock-out stages as to how they know how well they are going…..
“It’s still early days in fairness”
“Look, we are happy as to where we are at, but look it’s still very very early, things will really start to settle down now over the coming weeks and we start to get to knockout hurling and then we will quickly find out where we stand”
“And of course where other teams stand as well, but certainly we will still have the same objective no matter what’s happened and that’s to go and win the game on Saturday”
“It has been our mantra and motto since the start of the year to take one game at a time, this Saturday is no different, it’s at home, it’s our first game ever to play in St Johns Park in the League/Championship and we will certainly be treating it with the utmost respect”
