The 2018 Kilkenny camogie homecoming takes place on Monday evening.
The Cats are to be honoured with a civic reception on the steps of Kilkenny Courthouse in the wake of their League and Championship campaign, culminating in Sunday’s All-Ireland defeat at the hands of rivals Cork.
Music and entertainment will get underway from 5.30pm with rolling road closures and traffic restrictions in place from the same time.

At 6.15p.m, the panel will travel by open-top bus from MacDonagh Train Station to John’s Street, over John’s Bridge, up Rose Inn Street and along High Street to the Courthouse.
The team will be introduced onto the balcony of the Courthouse at approximately 6.45p.m.
Entertainment will include live music and replays of the match on a large screen. Proceedings will close before 8.00 p.m.

KCLR’s Brendan Hennessy will MC the proceedings and you can listen live on air, online and in app to the homecoming from 6.20pm.
Kilkenny were beaten by a stoppage time point for the second year in succession, with Cork claiming the title on a 0-14 to 0-13 scoreline.
