Kilkenny’s Karen Duggan has called time on her International career.
Holder of 35 caps with the Republic of Ireland, Karen had been a mainstay in the side after making her debut in 2013.
As recently as 2016 She was named International Player of the year.
In a statement the Piltown woman said that she brings some fantastic memories with her from her time with Ireland and thanked Head Coach Colin Bell and former Manager Sue Ronan as well as her family and friends.
The 27 year old will continue her club career with Peamount United in Dublin.
Bell paid tribute to Duggan by saying she was a crucial part of the squad.
