League Champions John Lockes looking for improved performance in Tullogher game

John Lockes

John Lockes Callan Joint manager John O’Neill says improvement is essential if they are to defeat Tullogher-Rosbercon in Saturday’s Intermediate Quarter-Final despite defeating one of the competition favorites Tullaroan in the League Final.

Speaking to KCLR, John says the overall performance in the League Final left a lot to be desired despite winning.

“Well we believe like if we play to our potential we believe we can match anyone and obviously then go on and beat anyone but it’s about us getting to that potential and that’s I suppose what happened.

“We played ok at times that day (against Tullaroan) I suppose we finished strong, that was the big thing about it.

“We will definitely have to improve if we are to going to win on Saturday,” he said.
