Carlow Senior Hurler David English has been named as the Irish Shinty Hurling Captain for the upcoming international against Scotland.
The Ballinkillen man has played for his country before and will lead out a strong line up.
English’s team mate John Michael Nolan of Naomh Eoin has also been selected.
The side will be coached by Kilkenny’s Conor Phelan and Tipperarys Willie Maher.
Other High profile players include Tipperary forward Jason Forde, Waterford defender Noel Connors and Clare’s David McInerney.
The game is in Inverness this Saturday at 2pm.
