Graigue-Ballycallan’s Eddie Brennan says his side are determined to make the most of their opportunity in the Club Championships.
Kilkenny’s intermediate champions have a Leinster Intermediate Club Final to look forward to next weekend (1 December).
Speaking after Saturday’s landslide victory against St. Mogues of Fethard, Eddie says they are on huge bonus territory.
The All-Ireland winner with Kilkenny also recognises youth has a big part to play in the team’s progression.
“[It was a ]very good performance, I think our young legs was key to that”, said Brennan.
“I think the team is growing, there is no doubt about that and look it’s one step at a time.”
“You always like to see yourself tidying up aspects of your game as you go along, and we are on huge bonus territory now.”
“I mean, every day you get out is massive. The County Final is the be all and end all, but it’s great to be still hanging in there and great to be still in a club Championship.”
“Opportunities like this come around very, very rarely.”
We’ll be following Graigue-Ballycallan into the final as they face Portlaoise at 1.45pm in Nowlan Park.
That game is preceded by the Leinster Club Junior Final as Dunnamaggin take on Na Fianna at 12pm.
