Liverpool’s Bagenalstown Supporters Club Chairman Mick Lillis says that it will be important that Liverpool don’t suffer the same lack of form as Premier League Champions Manchester City did in December.
The Premier League leaders will be attempting to bounce back to winning ways away to Brighton tomorrow, and speaking to KCLR, Mick hopes it will be the start of another winning run.
“I know it’s whittled down to four from seven (points)”, says Lillis.
“But at the same time, if someone had have said early in December you would take four points, you would grab an arm and all.”
“City have lost three out of their last five league games as well ,so we would be hoping we wouldn’t go on a run like that now.”
“We would be hoping to bounce back this Saturday and go on another good run again. You would keep that four and maybe even increase it to seven or ten as you come into February and March.”
