Carlow Rugby Club Head Coach Steve Ashmore says they have the firepower to cause Kilkenny problems in Sunday’s Towns Cup game.

Speaking to KCLR, Steve says the gap is slender between the Teams in 1A and 1B of the Leinster League.

“They are operating in 1A and we are in 1B having won 2A last year, but look you can even look in the record of the Cup, 1B teams have done very well over the years”

“1A is obviously a higher standard, but the gap is not huge between 1A and 1B so we feel we have the firepower to cause Kilkenny problems and I know they are operating in a higher Division but the gap is a slender enough one between 1A and 1B”
