Waterford Senior Hurling manager Padraic Fanning says that Carlow’s progress is fantastic for hurling.
Speaking exclusively to KCLR ahead of tomorrow’s evening (Saturday) National League clash, Padraic says that Carlow will be formidable opponents for anybody.
He said “They are going to be a difficult assignment for anybody, and Carlow’s progress has been well documented and I think it’s well merited. They would have been a serious team, they have made huge progress”.
“I would be very familiar with how much the progress they have made particularly over I would say even the last 10 years, but then what Colm (Bonnar) has done in the last few years there with the lads, it’s been fantastic and it’s great for hurling as well and obviously it’s fantastic for Carlow, and they are competing at a top level” he said.
“Division 1B is a high standard, we are in there, Carlow are in there, Galway are in there, it’s a serious standard and it’s a fantastic for hurling though”.
