IT Carlow Basketball Head Coach Martin Conroy says they need to push on and move forward if they are to make the Superleague play-offs.
Martin was speaking after they were denied victory at the death by Marble City Hawks in last Friday night’s Superleague clash and he told KCLR that it’s a learning curve for them.
He said “We got comfortable once we got our four wins, and we knew we were kind of safe. Unfortunately, we didn’t kind of push on from there and look to go to the play-offs, but it’s still a learning curve for us”.
“Our club is five years old just like Kilkenny and we are in the SuperLeague, and we won Division One three years ago only losing one game in the whole year so it’s onwards and upwards for us”.
Martin says “We are going to look to move forward now and we can’t stay just coming in that 6th and 7th position, we have got to look forward and to get into that top 6 and make those play-offs and then look to get into that top two or three”.
