Hanover Harps Manager Paul Dowling says the Gaelic Football background will stand to the players who are involved in Sunday’s Leinster Junior Cup Quarter-Final clash against Baldoyle United.

Speaking to KCLR, Paul says their GAA experience suits them perfectly for a battle which they are going on Sunday.

He said “Cathal (Coughlan) and Ray (Walker) played Gaelic with the county for a few years, and sure everybody knows Sean (Kavanagh) in the back line and Niall Swan, and you have a lot of experience there coming through the whole team and that little bit of toughness really stands out in a game like this”.

“We are lucky to have a few lads in the team that if they want to play Soccer with them, they are good, but if they want to fight with them, they are better at that again and they just dig in, really tough game, don’t shy away from anything, they are in the middle of it, roll up sleeves and just get going and it suits them down to the ground” said Paul.
