St Thomas’s Conor Cooney says they under performed against Cushendall in their All Ireland Club Semi Final which has helped them prepare better for Sundays Final.
Ballyhale Shamrocks stand in the Galways clubs way of a second All Ireland.
Conor says the manner in which they won the semi final gives them plenty to work on ahead of Sunday.
He said “I suppose you’re better off maybe (having things to work on), we went out against Cushendall and put up a big display in the first half and maybe in the second half Cushendall came out all guns blazing and fired up”.
“We didn’t finish as we would have liked to finish but I suppose that’s good in a way because you can take lots of learnings and lots of works ons and the heads aren’t getting too big or anything like that, that’s a plus, probably a better position to be in”
