Freebooters joint manager James Kelly says they are coming into form at the right time after having a blip around the Christmas/New Year period.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s KCLR McCalmont Cup last 16 clash against Thomastown United, James says they have got back on track after disappointments in external competitions.
He said “We’ve had a mixed season so far, we had a bit of a blip there after the Christmas there”.
“We had two defeats in the League and we were knocked out of the Leinster and FAI, but we just put it down to the season and we are after getting back on top of things there in the month of February, we had a win in the McCalmont Cup and Sunday we had a recent win there against Clover, so we feel coming into the run-in now we are going to hit a run of form hopefully and take it to the end of the season”.
