2016 Aintree Grand National winning Jockey David Mullins is confident he will be fully fit to be able to ride in this Saturday’s feature event.
Speaking to KCLR, David thinks the concussion test and consulting with the doctor will work out well as he attempts to add to his great record in the Aintree feature.
He says “I got knocked out there about two weeks ago, Monday two weeks, I have to pass a concussion test and pass the doctor, but I am fairly confident of all that and hopefully ready for Aintree”.
Speaking of winning the 2016 Aintree National, he said “That was a great day and last year we were 2nd only beaten narrowly by about a nose so it’s a great race, the pinnacle of horse racing, National Hunt Racing and Horse Racing I would say”.
