Carlow Senior Hurling Manager Colm Bonnar says a top three spot within the Leinster Championship remains a firm possibility.
Speaking to KCLR after Sunday’s defeat to Kilkenny, Colm says Dublin will be under serious pressure to get a result to keep their Championship hopes alive.
He said “We can’t be ruled out of it yet because we have a home game and then away to Wexford so Dublin will be under savage pressure to get the two points on board to get their Championship back on mode, so it’s all to play for, if we can bring the learning through this game forward into the Dublin game, I am hoping a good crowd will come out and that we will give a balanced game where we will be competing for the both halves”.
Colm says he was encouraged by their second half display against Kilkenny and feels they can build on it.
“That’s something that we need to bring to the Dublin game (experience) and that will definitely help us, it’s about experience and you can’t buy, and these Kilkenny lads are used to rolling into, it’s a learning curve for us and we definitely got something out of it in the second half that we can build on”.
