James Stephens Senior Hurling Manager Seamus “Cheddar” Plunkett says that Joachim Kelly’s biggest test will be to get everyone pulling in the same direction.
Joachim has taken over as interim Offaly manager from the departed Kevin Martin, and Seamus says that the new Offaly man will bring a new lease of the life to the set-up even if it’s just temporarily.
He said “I think that’s the first challenge that faces Joachim is getting everybody into the dressing room back in there again because you will certainly get a bounce by a new manager coming in and we have seen it in a whole lot of other sports”.
“After a while that bounce could go as well, obviously Offaly have two games left and they really want to save their current status so that could serve them well”.
