Former Carlow Senior Goalkeeper John Kearns that Longford’s victory over Carlow earlier in the year in the National League will count for nothing in today’s (Sunday’s) All-Ireland Qualifier.
Speaking to KCLR, John says today’s clash will be a completely different contest.
He said “While Longford can say listen, we beat them already this year and we can beat them again”.
“The Carlow boys can come along and say listen that was a different time of the year and that, it’s gone now and it was a different kind of attitude, a different preparation and all so this is really what it’s all about at the end of the day like, it’s all about Championship”.
