Kilkenny Minor Manager Richie Mulrooney thinks that both themselves and Wexford have improved greatly from the Round Robin clash in the Leinster Championship in which Kilkenny won by a solitary point.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s Leinster Minor Final, Richie says that match in Enniscorthy won’t have much bearing ahead of Sunday.
He said “In Enniscorthy, we battled and battled to get that one point victory. We were helped by the fact that they lost a man after about 20 minutes through a sending-off and we had to work really hard to beat just fourteen of them”.
“Every game is different, we have improved a lot since then, I would say they have improved a lot since then as well, but we are really looking forward to testing ourselves against them in Croke Park”.
