Cork Senior Hurling Manager John Meyler says their inconsistent results in the Munster Champinship is not a matter of concern.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of today’s (Sunday) All-Ireland Quarter-Final clash against Kilkenny, John says today’s game is a new competition.
He said “We were disappointed the way we performed against Tipperary in the first game, but certainly the way we performed against Limerick was really good and Waterford as well, and the game going to Clare we were in the game for the last five minutes and we were a point down after Patrick Horgan scored and then Clare got 4 or 5 points in a row at the end so no, it’s a new competition, we know what’s coming and we know it’s going to be competitive”.
