Sunday afternoon saw Clara crowned the Kilkenny senior hurling champions for the second time in three years, defeating O’Loughlin Gaels at Nowlan Park on a 2-12 to 1-13 scoreline in a closely contested battle.
The sides were level at the break (1-09) but a second half goal for Clara would ultimately prove to be the difference. Clara advance to the Leinster senior hurling championship semi-final on 15 November.
