Cork Senior Hurling Manager John Meyler says that Carlow will need to find more players if they are to be able to continue to compete against Hurling’s top teams.

John previously managed Carlow for two years and says that strengthening the panel is critical to their development.

He said “Carlow have been extremely competitive, but will need to find more players, will need to strengthen the panel, will need to get a few more players in, that’s critical to their development so you cannot afford to lose one or two players maybe going away for the Summer, pulling out for whatever reasons, they need to get in two or three more players and that is critical to their development”.
