Wexford Senior Hurling Selector JJ Doyle says that an All-Ireland Semi-Final is the one game they don’t want to lose to considering what’s at stake in today’s clash against Tipperary.
Speaking exclusively to KCLR, JJ says they are fully focused on today’s (Sunday’s) contest and have put the Leinster Final firmly behind them.
He said “They are the one game that teams don’t want to lose is a Semi-Final because you know what’s down the line if you can win it, and listen it was brilliant winning the Leinster Championship”.
“We would look back at that in weeks and months to come but it’s really just about a focus now of going out performing on Sunday and if the performance is good enough we will win the game, and if it’s not well at least as long as we have given a good account of ourselves, that’s what we are looking to do”.
