Kilkenny Senior Defender Paul Murphy says they will have to raise their standards even higher if they are to beat Tipp in Sunday’s All-Ireland Final.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of Sunday’s showdown, Paul says that their epic Semi-Final victory over Limerick counts for nothing unless they win on Sunday.
He said “No still exactly nothing won, you can have these great matches throughout the year, but the important thing is keep the feet on the ground”.
“Until you have a Liam McCarthy in your hands you can’t take anything for granted, brilliant match, but it’s only one step on the journey really, it was just another step up and we have to raise the game again if we want to try and beat Tipperary”.
