Former Kilkenny Senior Forward John Power says the experienced players played a massive part in defeating Cork and Limerick to reach Sunday’s All-Ireland Final.
Speaking to KCLR, John says if the experienced contingent can repeat their performances in the All-Ireland Final, they will be in with a massive shout.
John said “They are a Team that we didn’t expect to be in an All-Ireland to a degree, but they are there now and I suppose like Eoin Murphy and Padraig Walsh and TJ (Reid) and Colin Fennelly, they are four massive players and they played a massive game with Cork and Limerick and everybody else rowed in, and I suppose if the same can happen on Sunday like, they will be in with a hell of a shout”.
