St. Martins Senior Hurling Manager Liam Dowling admits it is difficult to club players to re-adjust and refocus after a long lay-off especially with the summer coming to an end this weekend.
Speaking to KCLR ahead of this evening’s clash against Rower-Inistioge, Liam says that even though it’s particularly difficult for the County players after the All-Ireland Final defeat, they should be able to find solace in playing with their clubs.
He said “For club players it is difficult, but everybody is the same there is nobody any different so, and it will be difficult for the county players to come back after a heavy defeat too like that in the All-Ireland, but they all want to get back to their clubs, the one place where they find a bit of solace all the time is with their own club and with their own people so I would imagine they are looking forward to that as well”.
